Theodore W. Malinovsky, 24, Enjoyed Playing Pool

Theodore W. Malinovsky, 24, of Hoover, AAL, formerly of Lorain and Vermilion, died Monday, July 30, 2001 while vacationing in Fort Myers Beach, Florida following a lengthy illness.

He was born on January 25, 1977 in Lorain and resided in Vermilion until moving to Hoover, Alabama in 1983.

He graduated from Hoover High School in 1996 and was attending Jefferson State Community College in Alabama. He also worked at Tropical Smoothies in Hoover, Alabama. He enjoyed pool and was a member of the American Pool Association, and he formerly played little league baseball.

He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Hoover and formerly a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Elyria.

He is survived by his parents: Richard and Kathy (nee Dellefield), with whom he made his home; sister: Kimberly M. Anderson of Hoover, AL; a nephew; 2 nieces; paternal grandmother: Janet Malinovsky of Lorain; and maternal grandmother: Clara Dellefield of Elyria.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Theodore Malinovsky in 1976.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 3, 2001 from 6-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where services will be Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Gaetano Menegatto, CSJ, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
