Rosalia G. Faltay (nee Lestar), 88, of Avon Lake died Tuesday, July 31, 2001 at St. John & West Shore Hospital, Westlake following a short illness.She was born November 21, 1912 in Budapest, Hungary and moved to Avon Lake four years ago coming from Lakewood. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Faltay is survived by a son: John E. Faltay of Vermilion; daughter: Sarolta DeFaltay of Spencer, New York; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister: Margit Lestar of Australia. She was preceded in death by her husband: John on November 16, 2000; her parents: Mihaly and Erzsebet (nee Kardos) Lestar; and brother: Frank Lestar.
Private family services will be held. Cremation by Busch Crematory. Arrangements handled by BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake.
