Barbara A. Trifiletti, 62, Avid Reader
Barbara A. Trifiletti (nee Kolanda), age 62, of Lorain, died Wednesday August 8, 2001 at her residence due to unknown natural causes.She was born March 8, 1939 in Morris Run, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Lorain since her childhood.
She attended Lorain High School and went to work in the dietary department of St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center; she retired in 1999 following more than twenty years of service.
A former parishioner of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, she was an avid reader who particularly enjoyed romance novels. She was also a bingo enthusiast.
She is survived by daughters: Christine M. Willson and Jennifer F. Kallas both of Lorain, a son: Jeffrey J. Kallas of San Antonio, Texas, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Trifiletti in 1989, a son: Gus Kallas in 1970, and by her parents: Alzy and Frances (nee Dominikoski) Kolanda.
Memorial services will be Friday, August 10, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain.
