Lee G. Ventura, 35, Executive Chef
Lee G. Ventura, 35 of Sheffield Lake, formerly of Avon Lake, passed away, Thursday, August 9th from injuries he sustained in a diving accident on July 23rd.Lee was born May 29, 1966 in Monessen, PA. Lee was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, Pittsburgh, PA and was employed as the Executive Chef with the Avon Oaks Country Club, Avon for the past 2 years, coming from the Beckett Ridge Country Club, Westchester, OH. He was a member of the American Culinary Federation. Lee was an active person, enjoying the outdoors, boating, water skiing, Jet skis and also enjoyed golf and snow skiing.
He is survived by a sister, Lynn DeiCas of Charleroi, PA a nephew Nicholas and friends, Jennifer Porter of Grafton, Lisa Berwald of Middleburg Heights and Bradley DeAngelis of North Ridgeville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Delores (nee Kruki) Ventura.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon, on Sunday, August 12, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. All funeral services will be at the Miller Road Park, Miller and Lake Roads, Avon Lake, on Monday, August 13, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Tom Madden of Bay Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Park Cemetery. Memorials may be forwarded to the Lee G.
