Joan I. Pruchinski, 56, Enjoyed Playing Bingo
Joan I. Pruchinski, 56, of Harrells, North Carolina and formerly of Lorain, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2001 at the Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born July 31, 1945 in Lorain and lived there until moving to North Carolina 3 years ago.Joan was previously employed as a Night Manager at Convenient Food Mart in Lorain. She attended Brookside High School. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting casinos, traveling and fishing.
Survivors include her husband of 5 years: Albert S. Pruchinski; sons: Jerry R. Carter, Steven W. Carter, and Raymond A. Carter all of Lorain; daughter: Joyce (Gunter) Mashburn of N. Augusta, SC; step-sons: Albert Pruchinski, Jr. of Lorain, William Pruchinski of NC; 10 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; mother: Martha Ernst of Vermilion; and sister: Jean Jasinski of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her father: Clarence M. Meier and grandmother: Mary (Wolf) Eckert.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 15, 2001 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain, OH. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Avon, OH.
