Yolanda M. Roaseau, 85

Yolanda M. Roaseau (nee Geri), 85, of Amherst died Saturday, August 11, 2001 at Golden Acres Nursing Home, Amherst after an extended illness. Born November 4, 1915 in Brunswick, New Jersey, she was a resident of Lorain since 1996 and had previously resided in Arizona and Indiana.

She was a private first class with the 9201st WAC unit where she served as a medical aid. She was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal.

Mrs. Roaseau was employed as an assembler at Bendix-Westinghouse in South Bend, Indiana retiring in 1976 after 31 years of service.

She enjoyed participating in various games of chance.

She is survived by her sister: Mary Williams of Lorain; nieces: Joan Demchik andDiane Zemanek of Lorain; nephew: Richard Nay of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred in 1989; sister: Ann Zemanek in 1995; father: Emery Geri in 1946; and mother: Theresa Geri (nee Odor) in 1952.

Her funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2428 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. David A. Novak, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain. Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
