Lois M. Reising, 76, Enjoyed Camping

Lois M. Reising (nee Wagner), 76, of Avon Lake passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2001 at Grace Hospital, Amherst following a lengthy illness. She was born September 3, 1925 in Lorain and moved to Avon Lake ten years ago coming from Sheffield Lake, where she resided from 1962-1991. Lois was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Sheffield Lake and the Lively Avon Lakers. She enjoyed her grandchildren, camping, and feeding the squirrels and birds.

Mrs. Reising is survived by her son: Richard (Patricia) of Elyria; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother: Donald Wagner (Betty) of Avon Lake; sister: Irene Martin of Avon Lake; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Gerald S. in 1996; son: William S. in 2000; and her parents: Carl and Edith (nee Wheeler) Wagner.

Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2001. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home Friday, September 28, 2001 at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church will officiate. Interment will follow services at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
