James L. Bohl, 59, Chemical Operator

James L. Bohl, 59, of Stow, Ohio for 3 years, and formerly of Lorain died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, October 3, 2001 at Akron General Medical Center.

Mr. Bohl was born November 24, 1941 in Wisconsin.

He retired from B.F. Goodrich in Avon Lake where he had been a Chemical Operator.

He was a member of Bible Study, Holy Family Parish in Stow, and the FOE Aerie #1442 of Amherst. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include sons: Sgt. Eric J. Bohl (wife, Flyresta), of Ft. Sill, OK, Craig W. Bohl (wife, Cathie) of Stow, daughters: DeAnne (husband, Jim) Billman of Boston Heights, and Allyson Bohl of Stow, grandchildren: Craig II, Erika and Trenton, Brother, Michael Bohl of Springfield, IL, sister: Charlene Porostovsky of Whitehouse, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents Emil and Ione (nee Lange) Bohl, and brothers: Jerry Bohl and Jack Bohl.

Friends may call at the Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway Ave., on Sunday, October 7, 2001 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain on Monday, October 8, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, Pastor officiating.

Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
