Roy W. Stewart, 89, Owner and Operator of Stewart's Gulf Service Station
Roy W. Stewart, 89, of Lorain died on Sunday, October 14, 2001 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center - West in Lorain following a lengthy illness.Mr. Stewart was born on September 10, 1912 in Nineveh, PA and has lived in the Lorain area for the last 49years. He is a member of the Toledo Road Church of Christ.
He was the owner and operator of Stewart's Gulf Service Station on Grove Ave., in Lorain.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife Betty (nee Thomas) Stewart, and a brother Donald Stewart of Lorain and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Wylie and Rebecca (nee White) Stewart and 11 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funeral, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH on Tuesday, October 16, 2001 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on October 17, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals in Lorain with Mr. Bob eddy and Mr. Jim Hiser officiating.
Burial will be in the Resthaven Memory Garden in Avon.
