Franklin A. Reinker, 78, Superintendent

Mr. Reinker was born December 10, 1922 in Westlake and has lived in Avon Lake for the past 55 years.

Mr. Reinker worked as a superintendent with the Kirby Company retiring after 40 years. He was a W.W.II Veteran and a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gerry (nee Kruse). Sons, Robb (Nancy) of Highland Heights, James (Elizabeth) of Columbus and David (Gwen) of Chicago. Other survivors include 6 grandchildren, Jodi, Adam, Corey, Lori, Daniel and Brian and 2 great grandchildren Payton and Hannah.

Mr. Reinker is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alvina (nee Lange) Reinker and twin sister Frances Bracher.

Funeral Services will be at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 32747 Lake Road, Avon lake, Thursday, October 18 at Noon. Pastor Eileen Schwabero-Woyen of the church will officiate. Interment will be private in Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon. Memorials may be forwarded to the memorial fund of the church or the charity of the donor's choice.
