Isabell Urig, 77, Homemaker

Isabell Urig (nee Picken), 77, of Sheffield Lake died Saturday, October 27, 2001 at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born July 8, 1924 in Count Antrim, Ireland and has lived in the Avon lake and Sheffield Lake Communities the past 60 years coming form Cleveland. Isabell was a graduate of Avon Lake High School and a homemaker.

Mrs. Urig is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lester J.; two daughters, Kathy Keeton of Avon Lake and Linda Valadez of Lorain; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and her brother, John Picken of Avon Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth (nee Foster) Picken; a brother James Steele and two sisters, Molly Markling and Peggy Picken.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake, Wednesday, October 31, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at Noon. Rev. Rodger Roby will officiate. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorials may be forwarded to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 10645 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
