Delores DeJesus, 88, Member of Sacred Heart Chapel
Dolores DeJesus (nee Colon), age 88, of Lorain died on Sunday, October 28, 2001 at Community Health Partners Hospital, Lorain, following an illness of one week.She was born on May 15, 1913 in Patillas, Puerto Rico and came to Lorain in 1949.
She is a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, where she also was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by 3 sons: Joseph, Ralph and Manuel, Jr., all of Lorain, 1 daughter, Mrs. Gloria Cordero, of Lorain, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: Manuel in 1990.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 30, 2001 from 6-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at 8:45 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
