Mary A. Sustersic, 84
Mary A. Sustersic (nee Rakich) age 84 of Lorain died Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at her home following a brief illness. She was born July 1, 1917 in Lorain and had been a life-long resident of the city.Mrs. Sustersic was employed at the former Lorain Products as an assembler for 13 years retiring in 1983. She was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed bingo and liked to travel.
She is survived by her daughter: Carol Negron of Lorain, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters: Mildred Lopatkovich of Lorain and Zorka Buncic of Yugoslavia. She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1968, parents: Stanley and Anna (nee Zelenkovich) Rakich; and brothers: Milan Rakich and David Rakich.
Friends may call Friday, November 2, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 3, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Milorad Orlich, pastor of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Crypt at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
