Hope Star Smith, 1 day old daughter of Michael and Barbara "Barbie" (nee Sova) Smith, died on Thursday, November 1, 2001 at Community Health Partners Hospital, Lorain.She is survived by 3 brothers: Michael, Brandon and Zachary all at home, paternal grandparents: Densil Smith of Lorain and Songa Zakowski of Amherst, paternal great grandparents: A.D. and Metta Loyd, of Lorain, maternal grandparents: Richard and Cynthia Sova of Lorain, maternal great-grandparents: Richard and Barbara Davison, of Sheffield Village.
She is preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents: Fay and Mary Smith and maternal great grandparents: Richard and Margaret Sova.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2001 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, Ohio.
