Marian Ciccarone, 76, Enjoyed Ceramics and Gardening

Marian Ciccarone (nee Zipay), 76, passed away Monday, November 5, 2001 at the Corinthian Nursing Center after a long illness.

She was born October 20, 1925 in Sharon, PA. She had recently resided in Homosassa, FL. She was a former resident of Avon and Bay Village.

She was a retired executive secretary for the Diamond Shamrock Corporation in Cleveland. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Homosassa, FL and a former member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Avon Lake. She enjoyed ceramics and gardening.

She is survived by two sisters, Marjorie Gersdorf of Avon Lake, and Carolyn Krejci of Westlake. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nick Ciccarone in October of 2000, her parents John and Mary Zipay, a sister, Helen Fisher and brothers Joseph and John Zipay.

Friends may call at the Busch Burmeister Family Chapel, 3200 Detroit Road, Avon from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. conducted by Pastor Eileen Schwabero-Woyen, associate pastor at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Avon Lake. Burial will be Friday, November 9, 2001 in Homosassa, FL.
