Joan Lee Westfall, 64, Homemaker and Artist
Joan Lee Westfall (nee Adams), 64, of Lorain passed away, Thursday, November 8, 2001 at Metro Health Center following complications of a cerebral hemorrhage.Mrs. Westfall was born, December 27, 1937 in Cleveland and has lived in Lorain most of her life.
Mrs. Westfall was a homemaker and an artist. She enjoyed carpentry, restoration, gardening and flowers.
Her husband, the late Dale Allen Westfall Sr., passed away in 1993. She is survived by her children, Linda Pizzoferrato of Rogersville, TN, Michael Pizzoferrato of Lorain, Joyce Devore of Scio, OH, Judith Ristau of LaGrange, Darla Wise of South Amherst, Janice Oiler of Lorain, Margarita Westfall of Lorain and Laurence Dale Westfall of Vermilion, 3 step-sons, Dale Allen Westfall Jr., of Vermilion, John R. Westfall of Raleigh, NC, and Troy Westfall of South Bend, IN. Other survivors include her mother Margarita (nee Ianuzzi) Voet of Lorain, sister, Caroline Knott of Sheffield Village and Judith Redilla of Amherst, grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 1. Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her father, Clyde J. Adams and brother Jonathan Adams.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2001. All services will be at the funeral home, Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Carson Fraley of the North Lake Missionary Baptist Church, South Amherst. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden.
