Marjorie Mae Firment, 75, St. John United Church of Christ Member
Marjorie Mae Firment (nee: Brucker), 75 and a resident of Elyria passed away Thursday evening, November 22, 2001 at new Life Hospice Residential Center following a one year illness.She was born November 13, 1926 in south Amherst where she was raised. She has made her home in Elyria for 45 years.
She was employed at General Industries in Elyria working as a plastics assembler from 1944 to 1956. She was a member of St. John United church of Christ in South Amherst and the Women's Guild.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Andrew Firment; her brother: Harold Brucker of Kushing, OK, her sister: Norma Demos of Elyria and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry B. and Martha (nee Schneider) Brucker: and by her brother Dr. Maynard Brucker.
Friends may call Sunday, November 25,2 001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. from St. John United Church of Christ, 416 Leonard St., South Amherst. The Rev. Paul D. Eaton, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst.
