Rolla F. "Bud" Teeter, 74, Navy Veteran

Rolla F. "Bud" Teeter, 74, of Amherst, died Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Center, Lorain following a brief illness.

Mr. Teeter was born November 6, 1927 in Akron and resided in the Lorain-Amherst area for over 30 years.

He was a graduate of East High School in Akron.

Mr. Teeter was very proud of his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He retired from U.S. Steel in Lorain after 20 years of service.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Jeanette and Duane Moser of Akron, daughter in law, Denise Teeter of Cleveland, grandchildren: Angela, Tony & Michael, 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Hazel (nee Norman) Teeter, a son, Ronald Teeter, and a sister Clara Alice Robertson.

Friends may call at the Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Thursday, December 6, 2001 from 6-8 p.m.

Graveside services will be Friday, December 7, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio with the Chaplain B.J. Meyers-Bradley, Chaplain of V.A. Hospital, Brecksville.
