Margaret E. "Peg" Bramhall, 77, Executive Secretary

Margaret E. "Peg" Bramhall (nee: Holbury), 77 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Sunday morning, December 9, 2001 under nurse's care in Lorain after a lingering illness.

Born January 28, 1924 in Rocky River, was raised in Avon. She was a resident of Avon until 1966 when she moved to Avon Lake and has been a resident of Amherst since 1978.

She was employed as an executive secretary for Carl M. Adam & Co. for 27 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst where she was a member of the Women's Guild, the Spiritual Development Committee, and was an Eucharistic Minister. She also worked Bingo for 5 years.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Carl Frederick Bramhall; a son Richard James Bramhall of Avon, three grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a brother Retired Brigadier General Robert J. Holbury of AZ and sisters Winifred Conrad of Sheffield, Jeanne Oster of Prescott, AZ and Elizabeth "Betty" Lundberg of Port Charolette, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents George James and Rose (nee Thompson) Holbury.

Friends may call Wednesday, December 12, 2001 from 6-9 at the Hempel Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2001 from St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Dr. Amherst with the Rev. Lawrence Martello, pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Avon.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst, OH 44001.
