Roselyn D. Ciborowski, 92, WWII Services
Roselyn D. Ciborowski, passed away, Saturday, at the Elyria Memorial Hospital, following a short illness. Mrs. Ciborowski was born in Lorain and lived there as a child. She attended Birmingham and Lorain Schools.During WWII she worked at The Jack and Heintz Company, Cleveland, manufacturing parts used ib tge B24 Bombers. She also worked for Lear Siegler Corporate Headquarters, Elyria, an airplane pump manufacturer. She worked in teh Cash Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, Communications and Time Keeping Departments. She retired in 1972 after 17 years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her brother Harry Gorski of Elyria and a number of neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester; brothers John and Chester Gorski; sisters, Anna Kaminski and Josephine Gedridge and her parents, George and Hattie (nee Galazin) Gorski.
Friends may call at the BUSCH-CURTIS SCHEUFFLER FAMILY CHAPEL, 114 Second St., Elyria, Monday, December 17, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. Fr. Gary J. Malin, Associate Pastor, St. Mary Church, Elyria, will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst. Memorials may be forwarded to the charity of the donor's choice.
