Mrs. Rost was born on April 26, 1943 in Havre de Grace, MD and moved to Lorain 6 years ago. She was a homemaker that enjoyed crocheting and collecting 'knick-knacks' especially of cats.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years John E. Rost, her two daughters, Tracey L. Kane of Lorain, OH, Trina L. Rost of Baltimore MD, her son, John E. "Jack" Rost of Baltimore, MD, 5 grandsons, her step-father Frank A. Villa of Baltimore, MD, sisters Josephine Bartlebaugh of Baltimore, MD, Tina Squire of Houston, TX, and brother Frank Villa of Rockledge, FL.

Mrs. Rost is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Edward MacMickens and mother Dorothy Anna Grace (nee Reinhart) MacMickens Villa.
