Margaret Ellen Curley, 85, Active in Charity Work

Mrs. Curley was born April 26, 1916 in Lorain and was a life long resident.

Mrs. Curley was a graduate of St. Mary High School.

She was a member of the Church of St. Peter, Lakeland Woman's Club, and a former member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church. In the past, she was very active in charity work.

Survivors include daughters: Karen Curley, Barbara Curley and Mary Lou Hodkey all of Lorain and Jean Bobel of Vermilion, and 3 grandchildren. She was a fond and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy R. Curley on February 23, 1980, her parents, Michael and Catherine (nee Tolan) Long and a brother, John Long.

Friends may call at the Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Sunday, December 23, 2001 from 3-7 p.m.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 24, 2001 at 8:20 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain with Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, Pastor officiating.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
