Ruth Lauretta Albrecht, 82, Farmer

Born November 8, 1919 in Brownhelm Township where she was a lifetime resident graduating from Brownhelm Township High School in the class of 1937.

Miss. Albrecht lived her entire life in Brownhelm Township where she farmed with her brother on the family homestead until his death in 1985. She sold eggs in Lorain, Amherst, and Elyria for many years and raised vegetables on the family farm. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Amherst. She enjoyed making dolls, crocheting and knitting and making lap aprons for the Veteran's Hospital.

Survivors include her brother Edward Albrecht of Spencer, OH and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bertha (nee: Haas) Albrecht; her brother Emil Albrecht and her sister Edna Hebebrand.

Friends may call Wednesday, December 26, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home. The Rev. Gary Bernath, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Amherst will officiate. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
