David A. Lynch, 40, Clearview Graduate

David A. Lynch, of North Olmsted, died Saturday, December 29, 2001, at Community Health Partners Hospital, Lorain, following a sudden illness.

Born August 18, 1961 in Lorain, he lived there until 1994.

He graduated from Clearview High School in 1980.

He worked as a custodian for JC Penney in the Great Northern Mall, North Olmsted for 15 years.

David enjoyed playing basketball, watching football on tv, working and being around his family and friends. He also enjoyed talking with his friends on his Citizen Band Radio (with his handle "Rag Top").

He is survived by his mother: Mary (nee Buffington) Lynch of Lorain; 2 brothers: Mark of Amherst and Adam of Katy, TX; 2 sisters: Linda Goff of Stewart, FL and Ruth Rollins of Lorain; 8 nephews; 4 nieces; 4 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.

He is preceded in death by his father: Vernon "Shorty" Lynch and brother: Paul.

Arrangements were made by the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
