Elizabeth R. "Lee" Summers, 77, Enjoyed Gardening
Elizabeth R. "Lee" Summers (nee Kocsis), age 77 of Lorain, died Saturday, December 29, 2001 at her residence following a sudden illness.Born on July 15, 1924 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, she moved to Lorain in 1962. She previously lived in Cleveland and Sheffield Lake.
She graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1942.
Lee was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles R. Summers; 2 sons: Charlton of Willard and Timothy of Lorain; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers Eddie Kocsis of Los Angeles, CA and Frank Kocsis of Apple Valley, CA; and 2 sister: Jennie Nester of St. Clairsville, OH and Margaret Pope of Flushing, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Julius and Agnes (Vasari) Kocsis; brothers: Joe, Carl, Louie, Julius and Eugene: and sister: Yerma Kocsis.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2002 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Avon.
