Susan Eileen Krebs, 92, Enjoyed Bingo
Susan Eileen Krebs (nee Yeager) - 92 of Amherst, formerly of Avon Lake passed away, Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at Golden Acres Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness.Mrs. Krebs was born, May 5, 1909 in Great Falls, Montana and had lived in the Lorain County area for most of her life.
Mrs. Krebs was a homemaker and enjoyed Bingo and playing cards.
She is survived by 2 sons, James Carek of Poway, CA and Dale Carek of Amherst Twp., OH. Other survivors include a stepdaughter, Jean Gunter of Vermilion, a niece, Doris Klingshirn of Elyria, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Carek and Charles Krebs, daughter, Suellyn Carek, son, Richard Carek, grandson, Frank Carek, sister, Hilda Albright and parents Peter and Henrietta (nee Kopp) Yeager.
Graveside services are Saturday, February 2, 2002 in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Kevin Saylor of Zion Lutheran Church, Lorain will officiate.
