Eleanor M. Lehman, 86, Inspector

Eleanor M. Lehman (nee Cullen), age 86, of Elyria, and formerly of Lorain, died Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at the Elyria Methodist Home following an extended illness.

She was born December 27, 1915 in Jolliet, Illinois and had been a resident of Lorain for the past 74 years.

Mrs. Lehman had been a member of the former Northminster United Presbyterian and the current Heritage Presbyterian Church. Her hobbies included gardening, bowling and playing cards.

She is survived by her daughters: Phyllis Lake of Elyria, and Dorothy Doslak of Rochester, MI; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Julius "Joe" Lehman in 1980; father: Martin Cullen; mother: Mary (nee Gregg) Cullen-Sherman; brothers: Clifford Cullen, Irving Cullen and Clarence Cullen.

Friends may call Thursday, February 07, 2002 from 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Malcolm Peel, interim pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Elyria will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggests memorials in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 12200 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, OH 44120.
