Margaret A. Jezierski, 81, Avid Bowler

Margaret A. Jezierski, (nee Mlinac) died Saturday February 9, 2002 at the Kingston of Vermilion following an extended illness. She was born March 9, 1920 in Lorain and had been a life long resident.

She graduated from Lorain High School with the class of 1932-B and was formerly employed as a sales associate for Marshall's Drug Store in downtown Lorain from 1941 through 1943. She later served as a technician in the chemical lab of U.S. Steel's Lorain works from 1943 through 1954.

A parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elyria Township, she was a member of the church's Altar & Rosary Society. She was also affiliated with the Croatian Fraternal Order.

An avid bowler, she was a member of the Lorain Women's Bowling Association for more than 40 years and participated in numerous leagues throughout the area.

She is survived by her sons: Frank of Columbus and John of Lorain one granddaughter, and brother John Mlinac, Jr. of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph in 1979 by her parents: John and Rose (nee Fogel) Mlinac, and by a brother: Lawrence Mlinac.

Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel - 3224 Broadway - Lorain where a rosary will be recited by members of the St. Vincent Altar & Rosary Society at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by her funeral mass at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by her funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church - 41295 North Ridge Road - Elyria Township. the Rev. James Ols, pastor of St. Vincent will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery - Lorain.
