Mary Lou Killean, 74, Enjoyed Flower Gardening
Mary Lou Killean (nee Sadler) of Lorain died Sunday February 10, 2002 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born August 2, 1927 in Haywarden, Iowa and had resided in Belle Plaine, Eagle Grove, and Clinton, Iowa before marrying and settling in Lorain in the Mid 1960's.Mrs. Killean was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed flower gardening.
He is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert E. Killean; daughters Michele Rice of Aurora, Colorado and Sheila Killean of Lorain; sons: Michael Killean of Guatemala and Joel Killean of Charlotte, North Carolina; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; brothers: Joel Sadler of Lake Wylie South Carolina, Richard Sadler of Casper, Wyoming, and David Sadler of Grand Rapids Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Elsie (nee Sherman) Sadler; sister: Darlene York, brother: General Robert Sadler.
Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel -3224 Broadway - Lorain. Her funeral services will begin in the funeral chapel at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by her funeral mass at 12:00 noon in St. Anthony of Pauda Catholic Church -1305 East Erie Ave.- Lorain. The Rev. Chuck Henkle associate pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation will follow.
