Lyle G. Joslin, 59, Airforce Veteran
Lyle G. Joslin, 59 of Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Lorain died Thursday, February 14, 2002 at his residence following a brief illness.Mr. Joslin was born June 8, 1942 in Lorain, Ohio and was a resident of Lorain until 1996. He retired from Ohio Edison after 36 years of service. He was veteran of the US Airforce. He attended First Evangelical Lutheran Church when he lived in the Lorain area.
He was a member of the VFW Post 1662, Amvets Post 22, American Legion Post #397, in Ohio and the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge in Florida.
Mr. Joslin was a member of various country western bands and the lead singer in the area country western band called "Country Sweet Things". He played the saxophone and enjoyed singing Karaoke.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelley C. Hand of Elyria, and his son Jeffrey C. Joslin of Oberlin, his mother Mildred (nee Popovich) Joslin, of Port Richey and one grandchild.
Mr. Joslin is preceded in death by his father Carlyle G. Joslin in 1998, grandsons, Dakota K. Hand in 1997 and Nathan S. Kestner in 1988.
