Monserrate Rodriguez, 65, Enjoyed Listening to Christian Music

She was born April 27, 1936 in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She came to Lorain to make her home in May of 1986.

Mrs. Rodriguez was a member Iglesia de Cristo Misionera, Lorain, where she was a member of the Ladies Society. She enjoyed listening to Christian Music.

Among the survivors are her daughters Luz Brenes and Noelia Torres both of Lorain, Maria Torres, Wanda Gonzalez and Delia Diaz all of Guayama, Puerto Rico; sons Benjamin, Geraldo, Anibal and Carlos Gonzalez all of Lorain; forty-six Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren; brothers Juan Rodriguez of Guayama, Puerto Rico and Raphael Rodriguez of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 32 years Modesto Gonzalez in August 1983; a son Miguel Gonzalez; parents Gregorio and Carmella (nee Vicente) Rodriguez and a brother Gilberto Rodriguez.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 18, 2002, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in Iglesia de Cristo Misionera, 1930 Broadway, Lorain, where a prayer service will be Monday evening at 7:00 PM.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at 11:00 AM in the Iglesia de Cristo Misionera, 1930 Broadway, Lorain. Reverend Augustin Serrano and Reverend Rubin Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
