Olive E. Forsberg, 88, Enjoyed Sewing
Olive E. (nee Cudeback) Forsberg, 88 of Lorain died on Monday, February 25, 2002 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home in Lorain, following a long illness.Mrs. Forsberg was born on March 11, 1913 in Lorain, and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a graduate of Lorain High School and Bowling Green State University. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lorain and the Ruth Circle of the church.
She had been a stockroom clerk at Lorain Products for 17 years and taught Elementary School at Lorain Public Schools.
Mrs. Forsberg enjoyed sewing, reading and was an avid Cleveland Indian fan.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ingrid O. Knechtges of Avon, Ellen E. Luca of Lorain, her son, Roger A. Forsberg of North Olmsted, and 6 grandchildren.
Mrs. Forsberg is preceded in death by her husband Henry C. Forsberg in 1995, her parents Elmer A. and Adaline (nee Bowman) Cudeback and sister Eunice Wager.
Friends may call at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6th and Washington Street in Lorain, on Friday, March 1, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain with co-pastor Rev. Jimmy Madsen officiating.
Olive E. Forsberg will be buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
