Louise Goodson, 72, Enjoyed Gardening
Louise Goodson, (nee Quillen) age 72, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland, following a sudden illness.She was born January 14, 1930 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, and moved to Lorain in 1953.
She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. Louise was a very caring person, she enjoyed doing things for others and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Finley Goodson, sons: James Goodson, of Jefferson, PA, Matt Goodson and Archie Goodson, both of Lorain, daughters: Veronica Lynch of Lorain, Marie Vasquez, of Humaco, Puerto Rico, Margie Tesma, of Uvalde, Texas and Debra Goodson, of Lorain, 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers: Cann Quillen, of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, sister: Geanette Gibson, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Crit and Mary (nee Howell) Quillen and daughter: Caroline.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Monday, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Russel Kirkendall, pastor of Full Gospel Tabernacle, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, Ohio.
