Carolyn S. Duncan, 55, Avid Bingo Player
Carolyn S. Duncan, (nee Curry), 55, of Lorain, died Thursday, march 21, 2002 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center, Lorain following a sudden illness.Born November 21, 1946 in Logan, W. VA., she came to Lorain in 1968. She was currently employed at Deluca's Place in the Park, Lorain, where she worked as a hostess for the past 2 years.
An avid bingo player, she especially enjoyed playing bingo at St. John Ukrainian Hall, in Lorain. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, William, a son, William Jr., of Lorain, daughters, Rebecca Goodman, of Lorain, and Marlene Rodriguez, of Lorain, 3 granddaughters, brothers, Cecil, of Nashville, Tenn., Clyde of Grafton, Ohio, John, and Danny, both of Man, W. VA., sisters, Margaret Braggs, of Charleston, W. VA., Lee Richie, of Akron, Patty Castel, of Spencer, Ohio, Madeline Duba, Kay Fraley, Vivian Browning, Tammy Vance, and Kim Davis, all of Man, W. VA.
Her parents, Carl and Kathleen Curry, brothers, Jack and George, and a sister Ruth preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain.
