Dolores S. Wright, 95, Enjoyed Reading and Playing Cards

Photo of Dolores S. Wright Dolores S. Wright (nee Caldwell), 95, formerly of Vermilion, died Saturday, March 30, 2002 in Tandem Health Care of Port Charlotte, FL.

She was born December 20, 1906 in Ravenna, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 18 years moving to Port Charlotte recently. She had also lived in Ft. Myers FL for 10 years.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and was the past president of the Altar Rosary Society (1995). Mrs. Wright attended Kent State. She enjoyed discussing current events, reading, playing cards and family games.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas Wright, of Rotunda West, FL, Dr. John Wright of Vermilion, and James Wright of Fresno, CA; daughter, Sarah (Sally) Kasanic of Rotunda West, FL; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband Marvin Wright in 1981, parents, James and Margaret (nee Daugherty) Caldwell and 8 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday, April 4, 2002 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. A Christian Wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m.

Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday, April 5, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion where Father Steve Blum, pastor will officiate. Private burial will be in Rittman Cemetery, Rittman, OH
