Mildred H. Nicolan, 81, First Evangelical Luthern Church
Mildred H. Nicolan, 81 (nee Hansen) of Lorain died Monday morning, April 1, 2002 at Community Health Partners and Surgical Center-W after a brief illness.Mrs. Nicolan was born on May 11, 1920 in Sandusky, Ohio and has made Lorain her home for the past 50 years. She is a member of the First Evangelical Luthern Church in Lorain. Mrs. Nicolan was a volunteer at the former St. Joseph Hospital, Meals on Wheels at First Luthern Evangelical Church and had been a Cub Scout Pack #306 Den Mother.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Nicolan, daughters; Cathy Fennell of Lorain, Linda Super of Elyria, son: William Hummel of Kingman, AZ, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister: Marie Schwoco of Florida.
Mrs. Nicolan was preceeded in death by her first husband; Harry Hummel in 1966 and a daughter: Cynthia Hummel in 1940.
Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052 on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 from 10:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am. Funeral services will be at the funeral home with Rev. Jimmy Madsen, co-pastor of First Evangelical Luthern Church officiating.
Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Sanducky, OH.
