Anna J. Shauver, nee Dabrowski, 85, of Lorain died Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at Community Health Partners, Lorain following a brief illness.She was born January 2, 1917 in Lorain where she resided her entire life.
She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter. She enjoyed reading, especially religious scriptures and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Survivors include sons, William R. of Avon, and Robert R. of Mayfield Heights, 4 grandchildren, sisters, Mary Yourkvitch of Elyria and Hattie Truszak of Amherst and brother Mike Dombrowski of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. in1988, parents, John and Catherine (Tokarczyk) Dabrowski, brothers, George and John Dabrowski and sister Frances Biczykowski.
Friends may call Friday, April 12, 2002 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain where services will be Saturday, April 13, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain with Rev. G. Michael Williamson, associate pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
