Majorie L. Horinek, 78, Automatic Coil Winder
Marjorie L. Horinek, (nee Cook), age 78, of Amherst, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at Community Health Partners Hospital following a lengthy illness,Born December 27, 1923 in Conneaut, Ohio, she lived in Cleveland before moving to Lorain in 1948.
She worked for Lorain Products, in Plant #4 as an automatic coil winder, retiring in 1985, after 20 years of service.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Amherst. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, camping, traveling, and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her sons: Jack of Lorain, Tom of Vermilion, Gary Stotzer of Elyria, and Arthur of Lorain, daughters: Bonnie Wolfe of LaGrange and Christeena Cook of Las Vegas, NV, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Dorothy Strack, of Conneaut and Carol Swartz, of Shreve, Ohio.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
