Mr. Northrup was self-employed at a Wellington Paving Company.

He enjoyed spending time with his children.

Survivors included his wife, Trecia (nee Thacker) Northrup of 14 years, daughters, Danielle Thacker of Wellington, Sarah Northrup and Jessica Northrup at home, son, Jacob Northrup at home, mother, Marianne (nee Smith) Northrup of Lorain, father, Jack Northrup of Lorain, brother, Jack Northrup, sisters, Jill Haglund and Penny Hovinetz.

Friends may call Friday, April 19, 2002 from 11AM till 1PM at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Friday at 1PM in the Funeral Home. Rev. Steven Green will be officiating. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.
