Clara T. Pulcer, 94, Clerk
Clara T. Pulcer (nee Niskey), age 94, of Lorain, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at the Oak Hills Nursing Center in Lorain following a one-month illness.She was born April 1, 1908 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident.
She was a clerk for Crystal Clear Cleaners in Lorain for many years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and its Alter and Rosary Society. She enjoyed traveling, ceramics and flower gardening.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Donna Pulcer of Lorain, granddaughters, Bobbie Pulcer of Lorain and Dawn Loos of Medina; great grandson, Stefan Loos of Medina; brother, Clarence Niskey of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Pulcer, Sr., in 1985, son, Robert A. Pulcer, Jr. in 1996, a grandson, Thomas J. Pulcer in 1991, her parents, Thomas and Christina (nee Bash) Niskey, sister, Marge Holley and brother Carl Niskey.
Friends may call on Friday, April 19, 2002 from 4-8 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain where prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 418 West 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Robert J. Glepko, pastor will officiate.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
