Mary Williams, 73, Enjoyed Flower Gardening

Mary Williams (nee Dudukovich), age 73, of Sheffield Township, died Sunday, April 21, 2002 at the Center Ridge Nursing Home following an extended illness.

She was born September 26, 1928 in Lorain and had been a resident of the area for her entire life.

A member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, she was formerly employed in the food services department of U.S. Steel's Lorain Works.

Her interests include flower gardening, reading and wildlife.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Denes of Elyria, stepsons, John Williams of Lorain, and Allen Duane Williams of Cleveland, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers: Robert Dudukovich of Parma and William Dudukovich of Lima and a sister, Ann Carubios of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband: John Williams in 1991 a daughter, Kathleen Williams in 1949, her parents, Nicola and Anna (nee Vukovich) Dudukovich, brothers: Nick and Don Dudukovich, and by sisters: Helen Swenski and Nelli Bahn.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where a memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at 12:00 Noon in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Milorad Orlich, pastor of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
