Mae A. Beese, 73, Seamstress
Mae A. Beese, (nee Haupt), 73, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Monday, April 22, 2002 at Good Samaritan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Avon following a brief illness.Born September 27, 1928 in Lorain and resided here until moving to Sheffield Lake in 1959. She was a seamstress for Joseph and Feiss Co. in Lorain for 20 years, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sheffield Lake, and a member of it's over 55 Club. She enjoyed her grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Raymond A. Beese of Sheffield Village, and Fred W. "Fritz" Beese of Sunbury, Ohio, daughter, Diana Hinton of Hermitage, Tennessee, 5 grandchildren, brothers, William Haupt of Lorain and Ernest Haupt of Vermilion, sister, Violet Trinemeyer of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Beese in July 2001, son, Lawrence Timothy Beese, daughter, Kristina Marie Beese, parents, William and Marie (nee Molnar) Haupt, brother, Andrew Haupt.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 24, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 25, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Gregory Varndell, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
