Paul C. Pisarcik, 86, Lathe Operator
Paul C. Pisarcik, 86 of Lorain died Monday, April 22, 2002 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center in Lorain after a lengthy illness.He was born June 6, 1915 in East Vandergrift, Pennsylvania and had resided in Lorain for the past nine months moving from Parks Township, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Pisarcik served with the U.S. Army during Wrold War II from 1941 to 1945.
He worked at U.S. Steel in Irwin, Pennsylvania as a lathe operator retiring in 1977.
Mr. Pisarcik was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst and was a life member of the American Legion in Vandergrift, PA. He enjoyed dancing and bowling and participated in several bowling leagues in Parks Township, PA.
HE is survived by his second wife, Marion M. (nee Roberts) of Parks Township, PA, daughter Patricia C. Faulk of Lorain, son Ronald C. Pisarcik of Greensburg, PA, sister Jane MonPere of Latrobe, PA, stepson Rev. William B. Henry, Jr. of Green Oaks, PA, step daughters Kimberly Henry of Penn Hills, PA and Karen McGuire of Parks Township, PA; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 8 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Effie Marie "Boots" (nee Espy) in 1984, parents, Andrew & Catherine (nee Kosko) Pisarcik and brothers Andrew, Joseph, John and Frank Pisarcik.
Friends may call Thursday, April 25, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brady-Curran Funeral Home, 429 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, PA. Funeral services will be Friday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Vandergrift with Rev. Thaddeus Rettger, pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Mausoleum in New Kensington, PA.
