Anna M. Brindza, 85, Enjoyed Cooking

Anne M. Brindza, (nee Mihalic), 85, of Lorain, died Thursday, April 25, 2002 at Kingston of Vermilion following a short illness.

Born September 21, 1916 in Lorain, she was a life long resident here.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lorain and the Croatian Fraternal Union. She enjoyed cooking.

Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. Elaine Maiden of Amherst, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother, Joseph Mihalic of Lorain, sisters, Mrs. Barbara Ellis of Lorain and Mary Kramer of Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Steve, in 1989, daughter, Deanne Barnicle in 1998, brothers, Blaz Mihalic in 1993, Lawrence Mihalic in 1993, sister, Catherine Smith in 1986.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28th from 2-5 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Rev. Fr. Joseph West, OFM Conv. Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lorain will officiate.
