Ethel M. Reid, 79, Enjoyed Knitting
Ethel M. (nee Stutzke) Reid, 79, of Elyria died early Friday morning, April 26, 2002 at Elyria Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.Mrs. Reid was born in Lorain on May 3, 1922 and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Lorain High School. She was a homemaker that enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by her daughter: Dianne Dool of Elyria, son, Russell L. Reid Jr. of Garden Grove, CA, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Reid is preceded in death by her husband, Russell L. Reid Sr., on March 14, 1995, her son, David G. Reid on November 26, 1998 and her parents, Roy and Marie (nee Bauer) Stutzke.
Friends may call at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer and Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain on Monday, April 29, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Robert D. Smith, interim pastor of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Lorain, officiating.
Ethel M. Reid will be interred in the Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, OH.
