Arletta M. Rummel, 80, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister

Arletta M. Rummel, (nee Felix), 80, of Avon Lake passed away, Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at EMH Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Rummel was born, November 12, 1921 in Johnstown, PA and has lived in Avon Lake since 1963.

Mrs. Rummel had worked as a switchboard operator for Lorain Community Hospital for many years, retiring in 1981. She enjoyed crocheting.

Her husband of 50 years, Ronald L. Rummel, Sr., passed away in 1991. She is survived by sons, Ronald L. Jr. of Avon Lake and Alvin L. of Vermilion, a daughter, Susan F. Poe of Colorado, 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sisters Bess DeDoske of Sheffield Lake, Florence Lonas of Avon Lake and Geraldine Shaffer of Boswell, PA.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Rummel is preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Arvilla (nee Hess) Felix, sisters, Helen Penrod, Jane Penrod and her twin Arvilla Raeger and brothers, Clifford and Lester.

Private graveside services were held in Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon. Pastor Eileen Schabero-Woyen of Chirst Evangelical Lutheran Church, Avon Lake will officiate.

Memorials may be forwarded to the Kidney Foundation, 11400 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.

Arrangements were made by Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon Beldon Road, Avon Lake.
