David Wuitowicz, 38, Construction Laborer
David Wuitowicz, 38 years of age and a resident of Amherst, passed away suddenly, Thursday, May 9, 2002.He was born November 24, 1963 in Amherst where he has made his home his entire life.
David worked as a general laborer in construction. He was an avid sportsman enjoying hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Vanessa (nee: Scoles) Wuitowicz of Vermilion, his 5 year old daughter, Debra Wuitowicz and his step son Eric Soles both at home in Vermilion; his step daughter, Amberly Showman of Vermilion and 1 grandson, his parents Joseph and Anna Marie (nee Beese) Wuitowicz, Sr. of Amherst, his brothers, John Wuitowicz of South Amherst, Michael Wuitowicz of Lorain, Joseph Wuitowicz, Jr. of Sandusky; his sisters JoAnn Stefurak of Kipton and Janette Kay of Wakeman.
He was preceded in death by his brother Chris Wuitowicz in 1993.
Friends may call Sunday, May 12, 2002 from 2-4 and 6 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Services will be Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Fr. George Vrable, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic will officiate. Burial will be at Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
