Marjorie A. Parker, 65, Assembler

Marjorie A. Parker (nee McCrone), 65, of Lorain, died Monday, May 13, 2002 at her home after a ten-month illness of cancer.

She was born December 9, 1936 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Mrs. Parker worked as an assembler at Lorain Technology for 20 years.

For 30 years, Mrs. Parker was a sports mom. She enjoyed reading, cooking, ceramics, vacationing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Leonard Parker, son, David Irish of Marysville, daughters; Kathy Brown of Lorain and Lennie Radcliff of Amherst, sons: James Parker, Randy Parker and Dick Parker, all of Amherst; 9 grandchildren, brother, Robert McCrone of Amherst and sister Mary Meldrum of Toledo.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Dorothy (nee King) McCrone and brother William "Mickey" McCrone.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
