Elvira M. Marlow, 79, TRW Inspector

Elvira M. Marlow (nee Bruno), 79, of Elyria, formerly of Lorain died Thursday, May 16, 2002, in Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain following a brief illness.

She was born July 1, 1922 in Lorain where she lived most of her life and was an Elyria resident for 26 years.

She worked as an Inspector for TRW for 39 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain. She enjoyed interior decorating and sewing.

Survivors include Sister, Ann Solak of Lorain, brothers, Louis and John Bruno of Lorain, stepdaughter, Linda Veil of Cincinnati.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elden "Al" Marlow Sr., 2000, son, Elden Jr., brothers Dominic and Jacob and parents, Thomas and Christian (Coia) Bruno.

Friends may call Sunday, May 19, 2002 from 3-8 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be on Monday, May 20, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. followed by 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain with the Rev. G. Michael Williamson Associate Pastor officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Lorain.
