Ruby K. Trent, 75, ARA Food Services Retiree

She was born January 1, 1927 in Hanover, WV and has lived in Vermilion since 1962, moving from California.

She worked with the ARA Food Services at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 31 years, retiring in 1989. She enjoyed bingo, gardening and cooking.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Stiltner of Vermilion, grandson, Charlie Stiltner Jr., of Vermilion, sister, Tazzie Lamar of Vermilion; half sisters, Addie Keaton of Yeager, WV and Dorothy Walker of Hanover, WV; half-brothers Delmos Lester, Denver Lester, Dallas Lester and Bill Lester, all of Hanover, WV; several special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charlie Trent Jr. in 1991, her parents, Litty and Jane (nee Hatfield) Lester and half-sisters, Patsy McMann, Lorene Kennedy and Agens Lester.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 12:30 p.m. The Reverend Larry Selby will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Lawn Memorial Park, Huron.
